The Spec Market is dead and the industry is changing. 

Spec scripts are the walking dead of the industry; they are simply not selling.  More than a few executives and producers I have known are either not with the same company or going out on their own. Pitch sites like Inktip are extremely slow if not dead. I made an account recently and checked last couple weeks "Pitching Opportunities" and many of the companies/producers are questionable in my opinion.  Producers who have more credit acting and modeling and some are even writers (well they list themselves as such).  Players who may or may not really be able to gather up one or two millions dollars for a small micro film.  Questionable at best in my opinion.

Write your specs to get better at writing but optioning or selling, good luck.
