The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho is a moving parable about a boy in search of treasure. However, the treasure he finds is not of the typical nature, but more a discovery of the magic of the universe, and the treasures within every human. This book illustrates the path that every human must go through to fulfill his or her personal legend.
Paulo Coelho’s message is a clear one. Follow your dreams or perish. He also insists that if you are truly pursuing your passion, the whole universe will conspire to help you achieve your goals.
I would recommend this book to anyone out there with a dream. Too often, gifted individuals allow everyday life to get in the way, and end up sacrificing their true gifts, dreams, and passions. This book changed my life; allow it to change yours…
