Script Sales: Week of April 28, 2009

A real slowdown on the Hollywood Boulevard and the agencies are panic stricken. Williams Morris has recently purged part of its staff and more cuts might be coming. Deals are hard to come by, but let’s take a look. Well, some comedies and a lot of remakes. But, seems the spec sales are still steady it’s just not always the newbe getting his/her shot. Another trend, the storylines are flat out lame. They sound like what I would have characterized as “B-Movie” fair. We will see! - HC
