Scott Frank to make Directorial Debut

Screenwriter Scott Frank ("Get Shorty", "Out of Sight") has apparently made what we've already know official, he's directing his own screenplay. He will make is directorial debut with "The Lookout". The dramatic thriller will be financed by Spy Glass and Disney. Joseph Gordon-Levitt will star in the film.
The film revolves around a mentally impaired former athlete who works as a janitor at a bank and gets sucked into a heist. Shooting will begin next spring in canada.
