HBO Films likes a SLUT

According to Variety, HBO Films is developing "Generation S.L.U.T.", Marty Beckerman's dark tale of promiscuity and emotional detachment among contemporary teenagers. Miguel Arteta ("The Good Girl") is expected to direct. Arteta is developing the script with the screenwriting team of Abdi Nazemian and Micah Schraft. The title refers to Beckerman's acronym for Sexually Liberated Urban Teens. Beckerman details unnerving contemporary attitudes toward gun violence, sexual assault, parenting and suicide in a brutal high-school social scene. Arteta is also attached to direct "Date School", a DreamWorks comedy "Red Hour "is producing with Contrafilm
