Script Report: PATRIOTS CLUB

This sounds interesting, from Variety, according to the publication Paramount Pictures has optioned the Christopher Reich novel "The Patriots Club" for Tom Cruise and Paula Wagner's C/W Productions. To be published in the summer by Delacorte, the book centers on a young investment banker whose life is turned upside down after receiving the man of the year award. The banker is subsequently accused of murder and forced to go on the lam, where he learns that he has been framed by a secret society that was founded by Alexander Hamilton in 1787 that has manipulated world events for centuries.
