Script Report: THE GRUDGE

Senator International and Ghost House Pictures have hired THE GRUDGE screenwriter Stephen Susco to write sequel. The first film, which carried a budget of less than $10 million, has already scared-up $75 million at the domestic box office.
Although presumed, it has not been confirmed that Sarah Michelle Gellar and/or director Takashi Shimizu will be part of the sequel. Shimizu directed the first installment and Ju-on: THE GRUDGE, the 2003 Japanese film on which it's based.
