Script Report: INVINCIBLE

According to Variety, Walt Disney Pictures is in talks to acquire the spec script INVINCIBLE for Disney-based Mayhem Pictures to produce. Brad Gann's script is based on the true story of Vince Papale, who became a member of the Philadelphia Eagles football team as a 30-year-old in an open tryout. He's the oldest rookie to make an NFL team (excluding kickers) who never played college ball. Victor Constantino and Nikki Reed are executive producing. Mark Ciardi and Gordon Gray, the duo behind THE ROOKIE and MIRACLE, will produce the film for the Disney.
