Script Sale: TEEN WINS LOTTERY
June 11th, 2004
Scribes Edward Kitsis, Adam Horowitz and Rob Thomas sold their movie pitch, titled TEEN WINS LOTTERY, to 20th Century Fox. The comedy follows what happens to a teenager that wins a $80 million dollar lottery; since his family is poor (what are you doing playing the lottery then?!), the struggling family's change in lifestyle is huge. This isn't the writers' first sale to Hollywood. Kitsis and Horowitz knew each other when they wrote and produced the teen oriented television series POPULAR and FELICITY while Thomas created/produced ABC's CUPID a couple of years ago.
