Universal Soothes TORTURED SOULS
Universal Pictures has purchased a pitch by horror novelist and
screenwriter Clive Barker (UNDYING, 2001) to develop a script based
on the "Tortured Souls" action figures created by him and fellow
horrormeister Todd MacFarlane. Barker and MacFarlane will produce.
STORYLINE: Unclear at the moment. Remember when they made action
figures based on movies? Me neither.
WRITER: Clive Barker
DEAL: Mid-six figures against over $2 million.
