Good Week For FINAL DESTINATION Duo.
Glen Morgan and James Wong (FINAL DESTINATION, 2000) secured two high profile
gigs this week.
The first is a remake of the 1971 horror pic, WILLARD, for New Line.
Morgan is set to make his directorial debut.
Second is a remake of the 1973 TV horror movie, DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE
DARK for Dimension Films. Wong, who directed FINAL DESTINATION, will take
the reins on this one.
WILLARD
STORYLINE: A bullied young man exacts his revenge with the help of
a bloodthirsty rodent.
WRITERS: Glen Morgan and James Wong
DEAL: No fee. Backend deal based on gross receipts.
DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DAR
STORYLINE: A young couple discover their dream house is occupied by
demonic little creatures living in the basement.
