Phoenix Digs HOLES
Phoenix Pictures in association with Walden Media have
acquired the rights to the dramatic novel HOLES by Louis
Sachar. Brent Hanley (FRAILITY, 2001) will adapt while Andrew
Davis (COLLATERAL DAMAGE, 2001) is on board to direct.
STORYLINE: Young men are forced to dig holes in a detention
camp as an exercisie in building character until the realize it
is actually the warden's attempt to uncover an outlaw's buried
foryune.
