MGM Holds HOSTAGE For Willis
MGM has acquired the rights to the crime novel HOSTAGE by Robert Crais.
Bruce Willis is set to star as well as produce. No screenwriter has yet been
hired to adapt.
STORYLINE: A cop, guilty over a failed negotiation in a hostage crisis,
finds himself involved in another situation as an accountant is taken hostage by
the mob. As the cop negotiates, the mob takes his family.
WRITER: Robert Crais (novel)
DEAL: High-six against $1.5 million
