FIRESPILL!
MDP Worldwide has purchased the actioner FIRESPILL written by
Matt Oppenheimer (TERROR IN PARADISE, 1990). The script is
based on the best-selling book by Ian Slater. Peter Oppenheimer
and Tom Sarnoff are attached to produce the pic budgeted at
$70 million.
STORYLINE: A Russian and American tanker collide off the
coast of Washington state resulting in a massive oil spill that
threatens the U.S. and Canadian coastline.
