Disney First To Get LAST CALL
The Walt Disney Co. has acquired the pitch LAST CALL by
Daniel Cohn and Jeremy Miller, which was part of a fierce
bidding war. Barry Sonnenfeld (MEN IN BLACK, 1997) is
attached to direct with Kate Hudson (ALMOST FAMOUS, 2000)
attached to star and produce.
STORYLINE: Angels are sent to Earth to pick up a
acist "shock jock" whose time is up. They screw up and
save his life by mistake. They then must try to kill him
themselves, during which time they both fall in love and
change the shock jock' life for the better. Ahhhhhhhh.
