Paramount pictures has acquired the rights to the political
drama novel THE SENTINEL by Gerald Petievich . Michael Douglas
is attached to star in and produce the pic. No writer has yet
been hired to adapt.
STORYLINE: A secret service agent having an affair with
the first lady becomes the prime suspect in the death of another
agent and becomes embroiled in a plot to assassinate the president.
