Universal Cries GO TO HELL, MIKE PIAZZA
Universal has purchased the comedy spec GO TO HELL, MIKE
PIAZZA from scribes David Rotman and Ryan Oxford. Ben
Stiller and his partner Stuart Cornfeld will produce via
their Red Hour Films prodco. There is also a very strong
chance that Stiller will star as well. No director attached
as of yet.
STORYLINE: A hot dog vendor blames his childhood
friend, NY Mets star Mike Piazza for all his problems. He
has a chance for revenge when he gets a shot at striking out
the all-star at a charity event.
WRITERS: David Rotman and Ryan Oxford
DEAL: $800,000 against $1.5 million.
