Clooney And Soderbergh Think THE GOOD GERMAN Is Great.
George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh's Section Eight in association
with Warner Bros. have acquired the rights to Joseph Kanon's
unpublished novel THE GOOD GERMAN. The rights were bought in a
preemptive bid. Clooney is considering starring.
STORYLINE: After WW II a journalist returns to Berlin to
find the woman he loves and winds up getting involved in a murder
mystery.
