Universal RUN With Sports Writer's Novel
Universal have purchased the rights to the sports novel
BUMP AND RUN by sports journalist Mike Lupica. Tom Shadyac
(PATCH ADAMS, 1998) may direct. No writer has been assigned
to dapt as of yet.
STORYLINE: A Las Vegas casino host inherits an NFL
team from his father and is introduced to the crazy world
of pro football.
WRITER: Mike Lupica (novel)
DEAL: Low against mid-six figures
