Universal Pictures has bought the comedy pitch PREACHING AIN'T EASY
by Cedric The Entertainer and William Stokes. Cedric, who stars on
WB's "The Steve Harvey Show" and was recently featured in THE ORIGINAL
KINGS OF COMEDY (2000), will star in the pic and is hoping for his
ORIGINAL KING's co-stars to join him. Will Smith's Overbrook Entertainment
will produce.
STORYLINE: Four wild and crazy preachers join forces to save a
church.
WRITERS: Cedric The Entertainer and William Stokes
DEAL: Low against mid-six figures
