SOLDIER Director To Adapt RESIDENT EVIL
Paul Anderson, the director of SOLDIER (1998) has been assigned
by Constantin to adapt the hugely popular and violent videogame
RESIDENT EVIL. I think Resident Evil is a cool idea for a flick IF
it's executed well. But since Anderson's previous efforts (SOLDIER and
EVENT HORIZON, 1997) were cool ideas that WEREN'T executed well, I'm
ot sure how much hope there is. Pic is targeted for a Halloween 2001
elease.
STORYLINE: A military unit fights an evil supercomputer.
