Miramax Picks Up Novel For Craven
Miramax has picked up the rights to the horror novel DROWNING RUTH by
Christina Shwartz for Wes Craven, who optioned the rights a year ago,
to direct. Mark Kruger (CANDYMAN: FAREWELL TO THE FLESH, 1995) will
adapt.
STORYLINE: Concerns two sisters in 1919 and the mysterious death of
one of them.
