Dreamworks Picks Up Rom-Com Pitch
Dreamworks has acquired the rights to a romantic comedy pitch by Pamela Falk
and Michael Ellis entitled THE DOCTOR AND THE DOORMAN. The writing
team's previous credits include the upcoming Jenny Lopez flick
THE WEDDING PLANNER(2001).
STORYLINE: A female doctor and a male doorman fall in love, only problem
is, due to previous relationships being undermined by their careers, the doctor
is masquerading as a kindergarten teacher and the doorman as a stockbroker.
WRITERS: Pamela Falk and Michael Ellis
DEAL: High six against low seven figures
