FINAL DESTINATION Duo To Adapt Russian Sci-Fi Novel
James Wong and Glen Morgan, the team responsible for FINAL
DESTINATION (2000) have struck a deal worth $4 Million dollars
to adapt an obscure Russian novel called Roadside Picnic.
The deal also includes their fees for directing and producing.
As with FINAL DESTINATION, Wong will direct while Morgan
handles the producing chores. The name of the new project is
AFTER THE VISITATION.
STORYLINE: A father must infiltrate a mysterious patch
of land that was the site of an alien visitation 20 years ago
and is now the key to his daughter's survival.
WRITERS: James Wong and Glen Morgan
DEAL: $4 Million (also includes directing and producing).
