Paramount To Update BEING THERE
Last week we reported an updating of Peter Sellers's THE WORLD
OF HENRY ORIENT (1964) and this week Paramount has struck a deal
with writers Garrett K. Schiff and Jim Burnstein for a modern
version of Sellers's BEING THERE (1979). As MTV will be producing
let's hope this modern version isn't too insulting to Sellers's
classic performance.
STORYLINE: The media mistake a normal guy for a genius.
