Revolution Studios signs Darryl Quarles to pen hockey comedy...
In a deal not far from seven figures, Joe Roth's Revolution Studios
has signed Darryl Quarles to pen an untitled hockey comedy as a
vehicle for Oscar-winning star Cuba Gooding Jr (JERRY MAGUIRE).
Gooding will play a gridiron great whose habit for dirty play
esults in his being fined and traded to a team in the National
Hockey League, where the only prominent black participant is the
puck.
