Ben Elton to pen PHANTON OF THE OPERA
Warner Brothers has hired Ben Elton to adapt "Phantom of
the Opera."
Storyline: Adaptation of the famous tale/Andrew
Lloyd-Webbers' musical.
Deal: un-disclosed
Writer credits:Elton, a top British comedian, will
adapt Webbers' blockbuster play. Antonio Banderas has
already signed on to star.
