Columbia Pictures Has THE PASSION OF THE ARK
May 12th, 2004
According to Variety, two unproduced screenwriters have sold their fantastical spec "The Passion of the Ark" to Columbia Pictures. Bobby Florsheim and Josh Stolberg's modern-day tale of an unmarried man approached by God to build an ark to save the world from a second flood whetted the interest of all major studios, including Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, and Universal. But it was Neal Moritz's Columbia-based Original Films that prevailed, with Original executive Ori Marmur bringing in the red hot spec.
