THE USUAL SUSPECTS Oscar-winning writer Christopher McQuarrie has been hired to pen a military action story for Paramount's Alphaville. McQuarrie, who wrote and directed Artisan's "The Way of the Gun" will also serve as executive producer. Reportedly, McQuarrie will then tackle "Iron Curtain" as writer-director and producer for Outlaw and Intermedia.
