Action star Vin Diesel is REPORTEDLY facing an $8m lawsuit after his beloved dog Roman allegedly savaged a visiting Hollywood screenwriter. The National Enquirer reports that screenwriter Michael Kerner had come to the actor's home for a script meeting when the attack occurred.
According to the US gossip tabloid, Roman - a massive dog weighing 170 pounds - "lunged at [Kerner] for no reason and clamped down on his crotch". The writer was later ferried to the hospital where he received "three stitches in his penis and two in his scrotum".
Vin Diesel, the star of "XXX" and "Pitch Black", is believed to have paid Kerner's original hospital bill. But reportedly the screenwriter contends that the costs of the attack have since risen.
