Script Report: OCEAN'S ELEVEN 2

You just knew this was coming as OCEAN'S ELEVEN was clearly left open for a sequel and now Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures have quietly commissioned Ted Griffin to write OCEAN'S ELEVEN. reports Variety. It was Griffin's script for OCEAN'S ELEVEN that gave enough edge and coolness to the stale Rat Pack original that it enticed Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney for producer Jerry Weintraub. The report adds that since the sequel is still in a "discussion" stage, there is no sign of whether Soderbergh would return as director, or which stars might come back.
