CATS & DOGS scribes land not one, but three high profile projects

CATS & DOGS scribes John Requa and Glenn Ficarra have landed several big writing gigs for Tony and Ridley Scott's Scott Free Prods., Jennifer Lopez's Nuyorican Prods. and the Robert Simonds Co. For Lopez and Nuyorican, Requa and Ficarra are adapting the Internet comic strip "Shrink!" Described as MEN IN BLACK meets ANALYZE THIS! "Shrink!" centers on Dr. Jessica Powers, who caters to the superhero community using a unique brand of psychotherapy that she specifically designed to deal with their anxieties and stress. The duo is also writing POPCORN for Fox 2000, centers on a successful Oscar-winning filmmaker forced to confront the issues presented by his films when a serial killing couple show up on his doorstep claiming that he is responsible for their crimesAnd finally, for Simonds and Warner Bros. Pictures, the scribes will pen a project tentatively titled THE FARM, a live-action, talking-animal movie in the vein of CATS & DOGS.
