Script Report: NOAH
July 12th, 2002
Dean Devlin's Electric Entertainment acquired the sci-fi pitch NOAH from Jan Skrentny and Neal Tabachnick for six-figures, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The duo will now write the material. Details of the project are being kept under wraps, but Devlin did reveal that it takes place in the near future and centers on a young scientist's battle for survival. The pitch was brought into Electric by the company's head of development, Marc Roskin. "Jan and Neal have created something totally original with the concept for 'Noah,' " Devlin told the Reporter. "The character of Noah becomes a sci-fi superhero, part comic book, part Everyman. The scope and energy of this potential franchise material makes it a perfect project for Electric Entertainment." Skrentny and Tabachnick, repped by Writers & Artists, wrote several drafts of Paramount Pictures' THE ITALIAN JOB.
