May 5th, 2002
The agony and wait were over, and man what a turn-out for SPIDER-MAN. The highly anticipated comic-book hero movie has set a record for the largest three-day gross ever cashing in at $114 million. Here's the breakdown from the associate press. SPIDER-MAN grossed $43.7 million on Saturday broke HARRY POTTER's single day record of $33.5 million.
