THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR 2? According to Variety, Pierce Brosnan wants to steal more paintings and MGM has hopes to craft a second franchise for him even as the studio plots a holiday splash for the 20th James Bond installment DIE ANOTHER DAY. The studio has drafted screenwriter Leslie Dixon to return to the fold and write a second installment of THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR, the hit remake that starred Brosnan as the dashing tycoon who steals for excitement.
