Script Report: UNTITLED GILROY PROJECT

Tony Gilroy, who has penned THE BOURNE IDENTITY, THE DEVIL'S ADVOCATE, and PROOF OF LIFE, has signed a seven-figure deal with Universal Pictures to write a spy thriller as a directing vehicle for filmmaker Steven Soderbergh TRAFFIC.
All that is known about the untitled project is that it is a drama set against the world of corporate espionage. Soderbergh begins production April 29 on the George Clooney starrer SOLARIS for Fox. It is also rumored that he is interested in Scott Burns script THE INFORMER.
