All good things must come to an end. Unfortunately that includes my run here at Screenwriters Utopia. Yes, your good friend and buddy Darwin Mayflower is moving on.

By far the most engaging part of my job was talking to the readers of this site. The E-mails I exchanged with you folks is without a doubt the highlight of my tenure.

You guys and gals are incisive critics, amazingly intelligent, and it was unbelievably fun to trade thoughts with you on various subjects.

I hate to get maudlin here on you, but I would be remiss if I didnt mention one more thing. While I was here something horrible happened to us -- that is, the 9/11 attacks -- and, since I live in New York and the tragedy hit me so directly -- I wrote a small piece about it. Well, the letters I received were helpful and touching -- and, though I doubt the people who wrote them knew it, they aided me through a time that seemed downright impossible. It may sound like something out of a bad movie, but I printed each one of those E-mails and saved them. I cant name the many, many people who wrote, but you know who you are, and I cannot thank you enough.

Special thanks to Chris, our worldly and knowing leader, for giving me this job. He has great things in store for the site, along with all the normal stuff that kept you reading all these years, so stay tuned.

Thats about the end of my Oscar speech here.

My E-mail will stay valid. Feel free to write me now or in the future. Its certainly something I enjoy and look forward to.

Until we meet again...

Stay safe, and keep up the good work.

-- Darwin Mayflower.
