SCRIPT REPORT: DAY CARE

20th Century Fox has picked up Geoff Rodkeys spec DADDY DAY CARE. It is described, in big-studio speak, as MR. MOM meets BIG DADDY, and centers on a father who loses his job. Okay, I get it: take the plot of the John Hughes-scripted MR. MOM (dad loses job), add the plot of BIG DADDY (guy has to deal with kid), and turn up the volume: make him deal with a whole bunch of kids.
