SCRIPT REPORT: CONFIDENCE

New Line Cinema production chief Toby Emmerich has hired Ron Bass to write the con-man thriller CONFIDENCE. The idea is based on a pitch Emmerich and Adam Gibgot sold in 1996. Emmerich said he expects Bass to reinvent the material, including making one of the cons a woman.
