Its PLANE all over again

MGM has picked up a project called SOUL PLANE from writer Chuck Wilson and writer-producer Bo Zenga. The acquisition sounds downright strange: it was purchased based on the first act and a one-page synopsis.
I think I know what the treatment said: Its a take on AIRPLANE!
Ill give the writers this much: they stole, and didnt even bother to change the name. Guts count for something, according to the Marines.
