What? Hollywood Wants to Make This into a Movie?
November 30th, 2001
In then un-f-ing believable category comes this:
"Disney has paid mid-six figures to preemptively pick up Bill Kelly's spec script AIR RAGE.
The premise draws very loosely on the real-life events that took place aboard a Southwest Airlines flight after a 19-year-old man became combative and subsequently died after being subdued by eight of the plane's other passengers.
AIR RAGE is a psychological thriller set on an airplane, and uses as its jumping off point the premise of a man whose actions have unseen implications for himself and the other passengers."
* Maybe it's just me, but in light of recent events, I place this transaction in the tasteless catagory...
