PIMENTAL MAKES SECOND HUGE SPEC DEAL WITH UNTITLED ROMANTIC COMEDY

VARIETYs Michael Fleming reported today that SWEETEST THING scribe Nancy Pimental has made another huge spec deal. Her second untitled romantic comedy script sold for an eye-opening $1.2 million versus $1.7 million dollars. Nancys last deal, for SWEETEST THING (see my review ), here brought in one million dollars.
Nancy told Fleming she hopes to use her growing power to be able to act in her own scripts. She has a small, funny role in SWEETEST THING. In my opinion, after people see her on the big screen shes an attractive brunette with that easygoing sense of humor she wont have to write her own roles; theyll be sending them to her.
I know Nancy isnt reading this, but heres a note: Pull a ROCKY and hold your script back unless they let you star. The material is too good to be denied.
