Script Report: GENGHIS
October 16th, 2001
Writer Craig Titley has found a home for his action-adventure project GENGHIS, currently its working title, after a successful pitch to MGM. Titley will now pen the screenplay.
The RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK-style pitch, picked up for mid-against high-six figures, is based on the real-life expedition organized by Chicago commodities trader and lawyer Maury Kravitz (who has reportedly been studying the Mongolian conqueror for more than 40 years, rounded up a group of explorers during the summer to find Khan's sepulcher.) to find the lost tomb of Genghis Khan.
Mr. Titley is repped by WMA, Zide/Perry Entertainment and the law firm Colden, McKuin & Frankel, and has written SEE SPOT RUN.
