WGA Elects First Female President in 50 Years

"WGAw ELECTION: Officer and Board of Directors Results
The membership of Writers Guild of America, west elected the
following candidates as Officers of the Writers Guild of
America, west: President, Victoria Riskin (916); Vice
President, Charles D. Holland (1,135); Secretary- Treasurer,
Patric M. Verrone (968).
These candidates were elected as members of the Board of
Directors: Peter Lefcourt (1,057), Terry Curtis Fox (915),
Irma Kalish (850), Tim O'Donnell (801), Ann Marcus (732),
Melissa Rosenberg (711), Elizabeth A. Hunter (711), Philip
LaZebnik (684).
The officers and Board members will serve two-year terms.
A total of 1,768 ballots were cast.
