Script Report: THE MASK 2

New Line has hired Lance Khazei to pen THE MASK 2, the sequel to the 1994 Jim Carrey hit that grossed $120 million domestically. It is being reported as a mid-six-figure deal.
No director has been attached to the pic, and reportedly Carrey is not interested in it.
While the plot of the second installment, which has been in development for several years, is a closely-guarded secret, most expect another comedy that will feature the magical mask that gives the person wearing it supernatural powers.
