Script Report: INDIANA JONES 4

According to reports, THE SIXTH SENSE writer/director spent several weeks considering the next Indy script, but has decided to pass on the project. M. Night Shyamalan gave no specific reason for this decision. Steven Spielberg and George Lucas moved quickly and made an offer to TRAFFIC scribe Stephen Gaghan, who is busy with his Paramount thriller script ABANDON, which he plans to direct himself now that it has been given a greenlight. However, Gaghan did say he hopes to start on the new Indy adventure in the near future.
