Script Report: BAD BOYS 2

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the sequel to 1995's BAD BOYS is still being developed. Reportedly another set of writers have been brought on board to rewrite the project's current script. This brings the total to eleven: Ron Bass, Dan Gordon, Ian La Frenais, Marshall Todd, Tony Gilroy, Cormac Wibberly, Brian Helgeland, Dick Clement, Larry Ferguson, Todd Robinson and Marianne Wibberly.
Marianne and Cormac Wibberly (I SPY, THE 6TH DAY) are new ones. The project is still in development at Bruckheimer Films and Columbia Pictures. There is no director or cast as of yet, but both Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are said to be interested in reprising their roles.
