Script Report: THE ALCHEMIST

THE ALCHEMIST was originally penned by Ken Young and Dennis LeFevre and deals with an ex-CIA agent turned naval pencil pusher who is suddenly in the thrusts of an investigation of a series of terrorist acts by a high-ranking U.S. military person.
Today Variety reported that Patrick Cirillo (co-writer of MAN OF WAR, along with Alex Lasker, a Revolution project with Bruce Willis attached to star.) has been hired to rewrite THE ALCHEMIST which is set up at Alcon Pictures (WB based). Reportedly he will take in mid-six-figures.
