Miramax Films optioned DARK FIELDS, an Alan Glynn novel. Reportedly they also hired TIGERLAND screenwriter Ross Klavan to adapt the thriller.
Story line: a down-and-out New York writer who discovers a designer drug that makes him astoundingly smart. It helps him become rich and successful. When his supply runs out, trouble starts.
