Script Report: BERSERKERS

New Line Cinema has acquired the rights to Fred Saberhagen's sci-fi series BERSERKERS. Jesse Alexander is set to write the screenplay and Alex Proyas (DARK CITY, 1998) is attached to direct and produce.
STORYLINE: Intelligent alien machines destroy battling races in one galaxy and then proceed to the Earth's galaxy intent on wiping out humanity.
